Many people say that electric vehicles are the future, and motorhomes and caravans couldn’t be less! And even more if we consider that the camping world has always defended a type of leisure environmentally friendly.
In this direction, the solar electric motorhome e.Home was presented at the last Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf, from the manufacturer Dethleffs, with 107cv of power.
It’s surprising to see its appearance covered with solar panels, up to 31 square meters that produce about 3,000W to supply campers. Besides, it maintains a pleasant temperature inside both day and night. The e.Home is built on an IVECO Daily chassis and currently offers a range of about 150 kilometres.
Its interior has all kinds of comforts: a living-dining room with a convertible bed and TV, kitchen with vitroceramic hob and a bath with shower.
As an innovation, it includes an efficient air-conditioning system which improves the vehicle’s performance, improving insulation and reducing energy losses. How? Thanks to an infrared panels and sensors that detect the outside temperature.
In addition, the manufacturer aims to incorporate a security system “Mobileye” to identify and warn the driver of possible dangers.
We hope you liked this proposal for a futuristic and sustainable motorhome!
