Top 5 songs for camping

If you’re a nature lover, you know there are very few experiences comparables to camping with music, surrounded by the best company and songs that provide a soundtrack for your moments.

We’re not Hans Zimmer but we bring you five songs to camp and be in harmony with environment.

1. Sweet home Alabama

A must-have classic. No camping trip is complete without this song by the American rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd. Just listening to the first 3 notes, everyone knows what song it is. Its melody and guitar plucking takes our mind on a journey.

2. Wind of change

Song by the hard rock and heavy metal band Scorpions. It is the band’s most successful power-ballad, surpassing Still Loving You. It’s an anthem of peace and togetherness but we’re sure it may give you goosebumps when you listen to it while driving.

3. I feel a sin comin’ on

A Pistol Annies song that makes you go for long drives without starting the engine. Imagine what it could be to drive with your family on an adventure with this song in the background. We can already picture the Grand Canyon, galloping on a hores, like an outsider or an outlaw on the run from the county sheriff.

4. I’ve got a woman

It’s a song co-written and recorded by the immortal Ray Charles, the R&B and Soul genius. Even if it’s from 1954, you and your family will be dancing to it in the car or campervan, you probably won’t be able to get it out of your head until you get back. By the way, many versions have been made, we encourage you to find them, listen to them and share them with us on @campingmasnou.

5. Feeling good

When you’re about to arrive at your destination, play this song for a triumphant arrival. Few songs have the intensity and solemnity of this song written by the british Anthony Newley and Lesley Bricusse for the musical The Roar of the Greasepaint – The Smell of the Crowd. However, everyone knows it from Nina Simone‘s or Michael Bublé‘s version, spectacular perfomances.
